Patrushev (Russia): In Ukraine we are fighting NATO
Kyiv is taking revenge on citizens in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhia provinces for their choice to join Russia, Zakharova said
The US, by sending the HIMARS missile systems, wants to drown Ukraine in blood, claimed Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to the new “package” of American military aid to Kyiv.
“Every week that goes by more and more money is being thrown there, at the Kiev regime, to ensure that the hostilities do not stop and that more and more people die.
They want to drown the region in blood with American money that does not come from the United States, whose public debt recently exceeded 31 trillion dollars,” Zakharova said, noting that the United States is ready to send four more HIMARS launchers in the context of new US military aid of $625 million.
In recent times, the reports of leading Russian officials are constantly increasing that the Russian military forces are not only fighting with Ukrainian soldiers, but with a number of foreign mercenaries as well as forces from the USA, Great Britain and other European states.
The Americans publicly admit that they give satellite and other intelligence data to the command of the Ukrainian military in near real time and participate in the planning of military operations.
This is a real hybrid war,” underlined Zakharova, who at the same time accused Kyiv of taking revenge on the citizens of the four new Russian provinces for their decision to join Russia.
“Nazi fighters have openly taken their revenge on civilians for the conscious choice they made in favor of who they want to be with.
The liberation of these territories will continue, the damaged infrastructure is being rebuilt and life is returning to normal,” Zakharova asserted.
The representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated during today’s press briefing that Moscow’s position – that there should never be a nuclear war – has not changed.
President Putin has said he is “not bluffing” about his willingness to use nuclear weapons to defend Russia’s territorial integrity.
Zakharova also said today that it was “unthinkable” for the investigation into the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipeline leaks to proceed without Russian participation.
He stressed that the West is deliberately creating obstacles to the investigation and added that the exclusion of Russia and Gazprom from the investigation shows that the West has something to hide.
The position that Russia is not only fighting the Ukrainian neo-Nazis but the entire West was expressed by the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, who accused the US of wanting to destroy Russia.
In his statements, Medvedev underlined that Russia will continue to liberate territories, which are – as he said – under the rule of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis.
The goals of the so-called global West represented by the USA and its main “scholars” are absolutely clear.
They want to destroy Russia, and at the same time weaken other states, including European ones.
“Ukraine is nothing more than a tool, and its citizens are nothing more than consumables for the theater of war chosen by the West,” Medvedev asserted.
As Medvedev said, Russia has chosen its path and will remain on it.
“All the goals set by the head of state, which include the protection of our citizens and territories, will certainly be achieved,” Medvedev asserted.
Rogov (Russia): The British and NATO behind the military operation in Zaporizhia
The position that the British and NATO are behind all decisions on military operations in Zaporizhia was formulated by Vladimir Rogov, head of the “Together with Russia” movement.
Not a single military step, let alone an important step, is taken there without the approval of the British or their group,” Rogov argued, mentioning that there are other mercenaries from the US, Canada, and Poland.
In fact, Rogov underlined that the Ukrainians use the locals as “cannon fodder”.
These statements of Rogov come to be added to corresponding reports of other Russian officials, who more and more often in recent times claim that foreign mercenaries and military experts from NATO member states are operating on the fronts in Ukraine.
Kiselev (Russia): Eastern European mercenaries fight in Luhansk
The position that 60% to 70% of the fighters of the Ukrainian armed forces fighting on the Luhansk front are mainly mercenaries from Eastern Europe was formulated by Vitaliy Kiselev from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Luhansk People’s Republic.
“Almost 60% to 70% of the Ukrainian army fighting in the direction of Luhansk are mercenaries mainly from Eastern Europe,” Kiselev told Russian Channel 1.
As he said, the main mission of this force is to occupy strategically important positions in the area of Svatovo, where, he said, only mercenaries with foreign weapons are fighting.
According to Kiselev, Albanian fighters are paid between $2,000 and $3,000 a day, while mercenaries from Europe receive between $35,000 and $40,000 a month.
Statements by top Russian officials that Russian military forces are at war with NATO and the West in Ukraine have become increasingly common in recent days, with clashes raging in those provinces (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhia) that were annexed to the Russian Federation. (President Putin signed the relevant law yesterday 5/10).
These developments indicate a dangerous escalation – for now at the level of rhetoric – of the war in Ukraine, where the big question is whether Russia will resort to the use of nuclear weapons.
Although the Kremlin declares that the resort to nuclear weapons does not depend on “any kind of sentimentality” but depends entirely on whether or not the existence of Russia (and now the newly annexed Ukrainian provinces) is threatened, no one can appreciate how it can to develop the war in Ukraine.
As Nikolay Patrushev, the head of Russia’s Security Council and one of President Putin’s closest associates, said, NATO is the one actually fighting against Russia in Ukraine.
“While liberating Ukrainians from neo-Nazism, Russia today is fighting not only nationalist factions and the Ukrainian army.
In essence, NATO is fighting us, as its member states provide the Kiev regime with heavy weapons, ammunition, reconnaissance data and military training from experts,” Patrushev argued, stating that NATO is involved in the planning of military operations and that extorts with the use of weapons of mass destruction.
The United States and its allies have long been carrying out their plans to create biological weapons in laboratories set up around the world, especially near the Russian border.
Some laboratories, as we know, were located in Ukraine and were used to create particularly dangerous pathogenic microorganisms.
Therefore, the implementation of the tasks of de-Nazification and demilitarization of Ukraine is imperative to neutralize threats to the security of our people and people in the liberated territories and to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Russian Federation” argued Patrushev, among others.
