War of nerves from Turkey – They are taking out the hydrographic Cesme opposite Lemnos

Turkish TV host trolls Erdogan for saying ‘We’ll come back one night’

Turkey is proceeding with another test of nerves from today until October 1. In particular, with NAVTEX TURNHOS N/W: 0880/22 issued by the Izmir hydrographic station, Turkey is sending the research vessel of the Turkish fleet Çesme to the area east of Lemnos for the period in question.

The infamous research vessel will carry out hydrographic surveys, however, placing one more vessel that the Greek armed forces will have to monitor just in case.

At the same time, the number two of Turkey’s ruling party, Numan Kurtulumous, took the baton of hurling threats.

Speaking on the Aksu TV channel, Kurtoulmos warned Greece that Turkey is “not joking and not bluffing” with what it says. “Turkey is a country that will protect its rights and justice. We recommend restraint, logic and prudence in Greece” he added.

Meanwhile, from Athens, both the prime minister and the foreign minister sent clear messages, while Nikos Dendias also expressed his concern about the escalating rhetoric on the part of Turkey.

“The other side of the Aegean should realize, however, that in the almost century of validity of this Treaty, it will be succeeded by many more. This is what History and Geography, legitimacy and international stability demand” the Prime Minister pointed out

“I’m sorry that I can’t just say, the Turkish leadership, because the Turkish opposition is saying things that are worse than the unacceptable things that the Turkish leadership is saying. But I am especially happy because the Turkish public opinion does not “buy” the narrative, but on the contrary expresses the opinion that these two societies can live together in the future”, the Greek foreign minister characteristically added.

Former Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu criticized Erdogan’s policy and especially the loss of stealth F-35s from Turkey and their acquisition from Greece.

He specifically emphasized: “The F-35 currently has the most advanced aviation technology in the world. How will Turkey compensate? So what are you doing; You will take precautions by singing to everyone “One day we may come suddenly, one day in Syria, one day in Iraq, one day in Greece, maybe another day?”

A portion of the Turkish media is now sufficiently caustic towards the Turkish president and his choices and his rhetoric. Turkey’s FOX main anchor Selcuk Tepeli specifically said: “This ‘suddenly one night’ story that Mr. Davutoglu mentioned with the F-35s there is such a problem! Because we keep saying “suddenly one night”, only these planes will be able to take off from Athens, come to any part of Turkey, return and we won’t realize it. Radars don’t detect it while F-16s don’t. So, “suddenly one night” is a song for us, but others will make it a reality”.
