Turkey: 300 missiles against Greek submarines in the Turkish Navy

Turkey: 300 missiles against Greek submarines is preparing to deliver the Turkish Roketsan to the Turkish Navy.

The Turks have already equipped 12 TUZLA-class patrol boats with DSH Rockets while Roketsan will deliver armaments for another 12 boats.

In total there are 300 DSH anti-submarine rockets that can be used at a range of 500 – 2,000 m and a depth of 15 – 300 m.

“The Fire Control System calculates the shots using the course and target information provided by the surface platform,” notes Turkish defensesanayist.com.

Of course, as is easily understood, the Turks must first… find the invisible Greek submarines in order to be able to fire at them. And as we have seen, finding the Greek submarines is not their strongest point either. Two years ago they looked for them for two months and couldn’t find them… anywhere.

It is significant that this development occurs shortly before the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced the site where the Turkish drilling rig Abdul Hamid Khan will drill.

The Turkish drilling rig is expected, as announced, to start for the survey and drilling site on August 9.

It has already been known that it will be accompanied by Turkish warships (and perhaps also submarines and Turkish drones).

Greece has prepared for any Turkish scenario, while the Israelis consider it more likely that the drilling rig will head towards Cyprus.

Greece, after the exit of the Turkish drilling rig in Eastern Europe, issued a Navtex for the area southeast of Rhodes (s.s. in blue on the map).

The Greek Navy, for the needs of live-fire aeronautical exercises in the southeast of Rhodes until August 22, has engaged with Navtex the area near which the Turkish drilling rig will be active.
