The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardaliasattended today, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the swearing-in ceremony of the Evelpidians of the 1st Class of 2026 “Lieutenant General Tasos Markou”, which took place at the headquarters of the Evelpidon Military School, in Vari Attica.

The event was attended by the Chiefs of GEETHA General Konstantinos Floros and GES Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis.

Also present were His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Hieronymus IIthe Mayor of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni etc. Grigorios Constantellosthe Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece Mr. Kyriakos KenevezosDefense Entourage and members of foreign diplomatic missions in Greece, as well as a number of relatives and friends of those sworn in.

A total of one hundred and fifty-nine Euelpides took the oath. Specifically, one hundred and twenty-six from Greece, twenty-six from Cyprus, two from Tunisia, one from Armenia, one from Albania, one from Montenegro, one from Moldova and one from Senegal.
