The Turks were disturbed by the statements of A/GETHA Floros, stating that “the Greek head of GETHA sent a message to Turkey during his visit to Evros.”

“Important and planned large exercises are currently taking place in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean. Not only is the Greece-France special forces exercise taking place in the heart of the Aegean, but the aircraft carrier Juan Carlos and Greek F-16s and F-4s are training together on the Spanish mini-carrier.
Exercises will follow with Saudi Arabia (the F-15s are coming again), as well as with Italy, Greece and Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean, all under the supervision and planning of the Greek Chief of Staff.”
