The ultimate challenge from the Gray Wolves who not only defended the move to give Devlet Bahtceli the infamous map, but warn that Turkey is ready to show Greece “how deep and cool the waters of the Aegean are”, even destroying its capital our country.
In the footsteps of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who some time ago had written in Greek on Twitter continuing Ankara’s aggressive rhetoric, the extreme nationalist organization Gray Wolves is also following. With a thread written in Greek, the Gray Wolves launched unimaginable threats against Greece, stating that Turkey has the power to destroy even Athens and show the Greeks how deep and cool the waters of the Aegean are.
The Gray Wolves defended, proudly, the choice to give Devlet Bakhtseli a map that shows half of the Aegean and all of Crete as part of Turkey. In fact, they developed their own…arguments as to why the map was correct and proceeded with direct threats and extreme provocations against our country.
“We are proud to present our Chief Devlet Bahçeli with our map,” the Gray Wolves originally wrote.
The map, according to the Turkish nationalist organization, “we prepared with awareness of the importance and power of the Blue Motherland, which marks the border line in front of the national consciousness of our islands, where the glorious crescent and star has flown for centuries, but was unjustly usurped from GREECE”.
As they point out, the map is called “Our national borders in the Sea” and even includes a QR code with Devlet Bakhtseli’s speech on the subject of the “Blue Homeland” and the Aegean.
“The Ülkü Ocakları Map is an important step in canceling the attempt to create a “done” Greece in the Sea of Islands, by revealing the names of the 152 islands that were NOT TRANSFERRED by the Lausanne and Paris agreements to Greece”, it is reported in Continuity.
The map in question, according to the Gray Wolves, “has destroyed the dreams of those who want to dominate the Turkish homeland in various capitals of the West.”
With reference to Crete, they point out that it was illegally conquered and “is being held captive within the borders of the Greek state”.
In fact, they emphasize that it is an integral part of Turkey and the Blue Motherland.
“Crete, one of the islands whose legal status has been left in limbo, is an unjust asset that Greece acquired as a result of creating a de facto situation by claiming rights to the entire island,” it is further underlined.
In addition, the Grays refer to the Greek media using the map and stress that it is “a clear statement that we will stand against Greece’s provocative moves and the arrogant targeting of our sovereign rights”.
They also warned that “we will protect our ancestral heritage which is of strategic importance to Turkey”.
Direct threats against Greece followed with the message: “As our leader Bahçeli said: Once again we shout to the whole world that the Turkish nation has the power to remind the Greek state how to destroy Athens and how coolly and deeply are the waters of the Aegean”.
“His achievements after 1913, 19, 47 lay the foundations today for Greece’s armament adventure in the Sea of Islands,” they add.
In closing, a video of a speech by Devlet Bakhceli was posted with the phrase “Both the historical root of the issue and the current de facto situation are contrary to international law. For a just solution and lasting peace in the Mediterranean”.
