Pressing the button is looking for Erdogan – Alarm throughout the Aegean from air, land and sea

In previous years, Tayyip Erdogan bet on the phobic syndromes of Greece and pushed with escalating threats to drag our country to the negotiating table, mainly for the division of the Aegean. All the rest that Turkey presents as demands are pretexts in sin.

The Turks want the Aegean in the middle and this is not just a revisionism of Erdogan. It is a request and pressure of the Turkish opposition, something that complicates things even more.

In the last year that Greece re-entered the game of armaments, the attitude of Turkey has changed, which sees that our country has overcome which phobic syndromes of the past.

It is clear that the Erdogan regime is trying to get us to push the button … In fact, no one is so sure that Erdogan is bluffing. We would say the opposite.

Greece will be on red alert throughout the summer in the Aegean and beyond. Both at sea and on land and in the air. The limits of endurance are not infinite. They are finite. As we have already pointed out from Newsbomb.gr, the Greek executives expect that within the summer Turkey will launch the fourth drilling rig it has acquired, questioning Greek sovereign rights.

The 4 basic scenarios considered are the following:

The first scenario states that the drilling rig will go close to Turkish shores and will not affect Greek and Cypriot sovereign rights.

The second states that the Turkish drilling rig may sail on a plot of land in the Cyprus EEZ, some talk about plot 6.

The third scenario that Athens is studying has to do with the placement of the drilling rig at the borders of the EEZ that Athens has demarcated with Cairo.

The fourth and perhaps the most dangerous wants the drilling rig to move south of Gavdos, within the illegal Turkish-Libyan memorandum.

Unfortunately, there is another unfortunate scenario, perhaps the most nightmarish: The naval blockade of warships on a Greek island within breathing distance that requires the push of the button from the Greek side. There things will be quite difficult.

Testing the power of the opponent in the first kick is a common combat tactic.
