An incident whose cause is being investigated took place during the rapid (rapid) emergence of the submarine Type-214 “Pipinos”, a few days ago in the Aegean.
The rapid emergence caused some minor injuries. The information says that at some point the submarine emerged at 52 degrees.
It is investigating what did not work properly in the evacuation of sea ballast tanks.
There is no possibility of human error, on the contrary, calm treatment of the problem minimized the consequences of rapid emergence.
“Pipinos” is one of the state-of-the-art submarines available to the Greek Fleet. Submarines that give a significant operational advantage to the Greek Fleet and the ED in general, in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.
