Are the Israelis giving an electronic warfare plane to Greece?

The Israelis have reportedly signed a contract with a “European NATO country” to supply an electronic warfare and early warning aircraft.

The name of the country has not yet been announced, but many thought of Greece as this scenario has already been mentioned on geostratigika.gr?.

It could be, geostratigika wrote, just as the Israelis have the Greek C130s for maintenance, it could be agreed to convert one (s.s. or a C 27 J Spartan) into an electronic warfare aircraft, along the lines of the Gulfstream G550.

Israel’s help in this field could be decisive.

The Turkish analysts at every opportunity emphasize the “nakedness” of Greece in this particular field.

Turkish electronic warfare systems can hit Greek radars and Greek communications.

At the same time, five Israeli radars are expected to be installed on islands and Crete.

The new Israeli radars are of a different technology than the existing Greek ones since they show in real time (phase arrangement) the exact position of the target.

These radars will be 4D and AESA and will be able to focus on targets, with target analysis as well as target prioritization while being able to transfer data to other platforms such as Belharra, flying radars, Rafale and F-16 Viper (p.s. .later also in F-35).

It should be noted that the Israelis understood the game of the Turks after Erdoğan’s visit to Iran and are taking upon themselves the case of the Eastern Mediterranean.

A Navtex report on the activities of the Israeli Navy in the Eastern Mediterranean shows that the Israelis are slowly changing their attitude in the region, taking a clear position in favor of the Greek positions.
