On Sunday, November 5, 2023, the presence of the Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos-Georgios Dendias took place, in the context of the celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force (PA), in Flisvos Palaios Faliros, an Air Show with the participation of all types of PA aircraft, as well as the F-16 ‘Zeus’, T-6A ‘Daedalus’ Single Aircraft Air Demonstration Teams and the anniversary Spitfire aircraft. In addition, aircraft of the airlines “Sky Express” and “Aegean Airlines” participated.
The event was attended by the Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens, Mr. Ioannis Kallianos, as the Representative of the Speaker of the Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Vasilios Spanakis, the Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens, Mr. Dionysios Hatzidakis, the Chief of the General Aviation Staff , Vice Admiral (I) Themistocles Bourolias and as a representative of the Chief of the General Staff of National Defense, General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis, the Chief of the General Staff of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis PN, the Chief of the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard, Vice Admiral L.S. Georgios Alexandrakis, the Chief of Tactical Aviation Vice Admiral (I) Georgios Fasoulas, the Mayor of Vari Voulas Vouliagmeni, Mr. Grigorios Konstantellos, the Deputy Mayor of Palaio Faliro Mr. Alexandros Pantazis, the National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister , Mr Athanasios Dokos, Members of the Supreme Aviation Council, the former Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, the former Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens, Mr. Anastasios Gaitanis, honorary Chiefs, Officers and NCOs of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, the President of of the “Aikaterini Laskaridis” Foundation and 2nd Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Aegean Airlines, Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis, the CEO of Sky Express, Mr. Konstantinos Iliakis, as well as a large number of people.
Throughout the event, the PA Band performed musical pieces from the Greek and international scene.
