Within the month, Anadolu will be ready – How Greece will act and how Greece will deal with it

The TCG Multipurpose Amphibious Ship can be used in the operational areas of Anatolia, the Aegean, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, in the Indian and Atlantic oceans

We can’t get enough mantas with the drill…

The TCG ANADOLU amphibious assault ship’s port acceptance trials are expected to be completed and commissioned this month.

The TCG Multipurpose Amphibious Ship, built with a full load displacement of 27 thousand 436 tons, a length of 231 meters and a width of 32 meters, can be used in the operational areas of Anatolia, the Aegean, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, in the Indian and Atlantic oceans .

According to the information, the sea acceptance tests of the navigation systems of the TCG Anadolu Multipurpose Amphibious Ship, whose acceptance activities are completed under the project initiated under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries held at the Sedef shipyard.

ASELSAN systems were evaluated in the tests, while there are other systems developed by the company on board. Combat system design studies such as combat system analysis, functional and physical integration, electromagnetic compatibility and interference, radar cross section analysis, are also carried out by ASELSAN.

Marine Acceptance Procedures MITOS WECDIS, MITOS Digital Plot Table, KULAÇ Sounder, DEMES Meteorological Data Measurement Systems, ANS-510D Gyro, ALPER LPI Radar, Navigation Radar, Long Line, Magnetic Compass, DGPS, WAIS, Alarm and Announcing Systems, which are systems under the company’s responsibility, were carried out.

TCG Anadolu, which has the ability to transport the necessary combat and support vehicles to crisis areas and with an amphibious battalion will be able to participate in operations.

Communication tricks

The obvious reason that the Anadolu issue is “running”, since Erdoğan cannot face the monster of inflation and the bad economic situation that the Turkish citizen faces in his daily life, he should promise the voters better days and achievements in the military field betting on the nationalist mentality of the Turks

This category also includes what is mentioned here, but which deliberately omits basic matters of substance

For example, what aircraft will the TCG Anadolu carry, since as far as we know it is the world’s first in this field, i.e. a mini aircraft carrier without fighter aircraft…

Russia also trolled her

Let’s remember that recently for the Anadolu L400, Russia also made fun of Turkey saying: “It was embarrassed” with its first aircraft carrier!

Turkish TCG Anadolu will bring drones – Ways to deal with it from Greece

Turkey will apparently operate from Anadolu with two different types of drones, the Bayraktar TB3 and the Bayraktar Kizilelma (aka Mius). Both drones have been developed for aircraft carrier operations, unlike the more famous Bayraktar TB2, which was developed for ground deployment.

Bayraktar Kizilelma is a jet drone that is capable of flying at subsonic speeds and has a certain stealth quality. The drone has a maximum flight time of five hours and can carry up to 1,500 kg in internal weapons hatches. The drone looks very similar to an F-35 fighter and is likely heavily influenced by Turkish experiences in developing the F-35.

Landing and take off

Operations on Kizilelma’s deck will be conducted in a conventional manner under a STOBAR (short take-off but aborted recovery) where the UAV takes off via the ski ramp on the foredeck. Landings are then made again by equipping the drone with a hook so it can catch the brake cables on landing.

For added safety, some kind of safety net or impact barrier will also be installed to absorb the speed of the manned aircraft. This is the common concept we also see in jet aircraft such as the Mig-31K on the Russian Kuznetsov as well as the J-15 on the Chinese aircraft carriers Liaoning and Shandong.

The TB3, on the other hand, would take off via a roller or catapult system that should give the drone the necessary speed to get over the ski ramp. TB3 landings could then revert to normal without an arrestor hook, because the propeller on the back of the drone makes it impossible to install such a hook. Safety nets or crash barriers are not normally necessary, but are fitted just in case.

TCG Anadolu could carry a total of about 80 drones, of which 10 to 15 can be deployed simultaneously. Probably 80 will be the absolute maximum as previous presentations of the TB3 Bayraktar drone talked about a range of 30 to 50 drones being deployed. It is not yet known how many Kizilelma will eventually be boarded.

Conclusions

From the above, it is clear that, even if what the Turks claim is ultimately true, regarding the possibility of landing drones from TCG Anadolu, that we certainly expect its exit to the Aegean and the SE Mediterranean, which will be another headache for our country

Greece, we have been writing for at least 2 years, that it should run IMMEDIATELY regarding the issue of the supply of equipped drones, in order to include them both at a strategic and tactical level

Unfortunately, even today this has not been done, resulting in the economic bleeding of the country, since the Air Force is forced to “raise” fighter jets to intercept the Turkish drones that violate our EAC

But in addition to the above, Anadolu will be required to be constantly monitored by our Navy in combination with our drones that will be on our unsinkable aircraft carriers, our islands in the Aegean

Finally, with reference to the possibility of attacking it by our PA, this is a given, since under no circumstances can Turkish drones be compared to our fighter aircraft.
