S.A. President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Katerina Sakellaropoulou visited today, Thursday, November 24, 2022, the headquarters of the 332 Squadron (332M), where the eight new fighter aircraft are deployed Rafale F3R, at Tanagra Air Base. The President of the Republic was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias and the Chief of General Staff Vice Admiral (I) Themistocles Bourolias who also represented the GEETHA Chief General Konstantinos Floros.

As part of the visit, a briefing was held by the Commander of the 332M Vice Commander (I) Theodoros Christodoulou on the organization, mission and operational work of the Squadron, as well as on the capabilities of the new fighter aircraft Rafale F3R. The acquisition and integration of aircraft Rafale F3R opened a new page for our combat-worthy and war-ready Air Force, upgrading and strengthening its already high degree of effectiveness in conducting air operations, sending a strong deterrent message in all directions.

Also, a tour of a static aircraft exhibition took place Rafale F3Ra visit to the 332M flight simulator, while the President of the Republic and the Deputy Minister of National Defense spoke with the pilots, technicians and officers of the Squadron.

Also present was the Chief of Air Staff Lt. Gen. (I) George Fasoulas and the Commander of the 114th Fighter Wing Commander (I) Stefanos Ambuleris.
