From July 10 to 12, 2023, the Chief of the Army General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis paid an official visit to Italy, at the invitation of his counterpart, Lieutenant General Pietro Serino.
The GES Chief had a private meeting with his Italian counterpart, with whom he exchanged views on matters of common interest. The meeting took place in an excellent atmosphere and the common intention was established for an even greater strengthening of the cooperation of the two sides.
Afterwards, the GES Chief visited the Italian Army Infantry School and the “Lancieri di Montebello” Regiment, where he was informed about their mission and activities and toured their facilities.
