“Prime Minister Mitsotakis in his speech at the joint session of Congress said that Greece and the USA are always on the right side of history. And he’s right.
»We work in a very ethical way where we solve problems together and where the US is looking for allies to face some challenges in this region they look to Greece because it is very reliable.
“I don’t know if you can do anything better than having a very intimate, very constructive meeting in the Oval Office with the President of the United States,” stressed Mr. Tsounis.
George Tsounis highlighted the investments made by American “giants” more and more in Greece, which, in his opinion, form the basis for further development of economic cooperation, especially in the field of energy.
Defense cooperation is being strengthened and the F-35s will be an important deterrent, he pointed out, while for the summer he predicted “calm waters”.
