Turks: Greece sees a new Ukraine with Turkey, Turkish media note, citing information on the Dendias letter from Politico.
“According to the news of the Politico website, in the latest letter signed by Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, it was argued that Europe would face the danger of a ‘new Ukraine’ if Turkey’s aggressive rhetoric towards Greece does not stop,” writes the Turkish haberler.com.
“Describing Erdogan’s words as an ‘unacceptable threat to the Greek people’, Greece asked the international institutions to immediately condemn Turkey”, it is noted.
“The Greek minister Dendias in his letter also referred to the elections in Turkey and stated that they believe that the claim that Erdogan’s words are directed towards domestic politics before the elections is not true,” the Turks reported.
According to the letter, Turkey’s stance is “a factor that destabilizes the unity and cohesion of NATO and weakens the Union’s southern flank in times of crisis.”
