Turkey has run out of pilots for the Turkish F-16s – Don’t they want to fly in the Aegean?

Greek-Turkish: Turkey has run out of pilots for the Turkish F-16s, as a result of which it is forced to call back 600 pilots who left as Gulenists.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense requested the return of Turkish fighter pilots who, having completed 15 years of service, had left and continued to fly civilian aircraft.

The pilots in question, having completed 15 years of service in the Turkish fighter jets, decided to demobilize.

However, the lack of pilots led the Turkish Ministry of Defense to decide their immediate return to the Turkish Air Force.

The 15 years of “compulsory service” was extended to 21 years to cover the shortage of Turkish fighter pilots.

In fact, those who did not return would have their license for flight policies suspended for 6 years as a penalty.

Cumhuriyet newspaper columnist Barits Pehlivan announced that hundreds of pilots have filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of National Defense.

It is, he said, an impressive piece of information, referring to “a sad history of Turkey”.

It should be noted that the appeals of the Turkish ex-fighter pilots were rejected one by one, with the result that they either have to return to the TAF or cannot fly civilian aircraft.

According to the Turkish journalist, some of these pilots have left or are about to leave Turkey to work for foreign airlines.
