An air show in Dallas, USA, turned into tragedy when two planes collided mid-air with officials estimating at least six people were on board.
As seen in the video, a large B-17 (a World War II-era bomber) is airborne when a smaller Bell P-63 Kingcobra single-seat aircraft crashes into it, causing them to collide.
A local television station reported that debris from the crash fell on Highway 67, closing a portion of the road to traffic.
Videos posted on Twitter and YouTube show the plane’s wreckage falling to the ground and causing a fire and a huge cloud of black smoke.
Wings Over Dallas is an air show hosted by the Commemorative Air Force, a World War II aircraft preservation organization based at Red Bird Airport.
The plane crash occurred at 1:25 p.m. local time and there are currently no official reports of casualties.
