MIT, as a result of long-term investigations and the information it gathered, revealed that the Greek EYP used the Greek citizen Mohamed Amar Ambara as a spy against Turkey.
It was found that the Greek spy was acting as a businessman during his travels in Turkey and was engaged in espionage activities under the guise of trade. “It has become known that Ampara was gathering information about the Turkish ED at the border and transferring it to the Greek Intelligence Services”, the Turks report.
The Greek side denies that this was related to the Greek intelligence services.
The case is being closely monitored by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
