The 3 important meetings of the GES Chief in Germany

The Chief of the General Staff of the Army left for Germany, where he will have very important meetings

GES Chief, Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis is going to Wiesbaden, Germany today to take part in the 29th Congress of European Armies.

There, according to confirmed information, three very important meetings have already been scheduled:

One is with the new Commander of US Forces Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF), Lt. Gen. Daryll Williams, who succeeded Lt. Gen. Christopher Cavoli a week ago.

The second will be with an old acquaintance of his, the Chief of the US Army (US ARMY) General James Mc Coville, with whom they have met two more times in the last year. One was at last year’s Congress and the second was during the official visit to the USA, last October.

The third and equally important meeting will be with the Chief of the French Army General Staff, Pierre Schill. In fact, according to information, the “two” are expected to discuss the next phase of the military cooperation defined by the Chiefs of the Greek-French Defense Forces, General Konstantinos Floros and General Thierry Beauregard.

After the cooperation of the Naval and Air forces in exercises and joint trainings, the two Chiefs will discuss how French ground forces will come to Greece which will take part in long-term joint trainings, in the standards of cooperation with corresponding US forces.
