At the age of 85, an elderly woman experienced terror in her own home in Nea Smyrni at dawn.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes while lying on her bed to find that two men were threatening her and demanding all the money she had.
The 85-year-old tried to explain to them that she has no money, but the two men continued to threaten to beat her to death if she did not give them the money. The perpetrators began to search the whole house while they had grabbed the 85-year-old woman with their hands and threatened her constantly.
Finally when they found some money they abandoned the terrified woman and left.
The elderly woman started to call for help from the neighbors and shortly after the immediate action was notified, which arrived at the scene.
The 85-year-old is still too distraught to give a description of the two robbers, who brazenly broke into her home, while police are trying to establish whether they breached a door and managed to get into the first-floor flat.
