On Friday, December 22, 2023, the swearing-in ceremonies of the newly enlisted Professional Soldiers (OP.OP) of the Army and the Joint Legal Corps took place at the Armored Training Center (KETTH) in Avlona Attica and at the Special Forces Training Center (KEED) in Nea Peramo Attica .
The swearing-in ceremonies took place in the presence of the Director of the Armored Division of the GES (GES/DIT) Major General Athanasios Garinis at KETTH and the Director of the Special Forces Division of the GES (GES/DET) Major General Nikolaos Yiannopoulos at KEED, as representatives of the Chief of the Army General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis, religious and self-governing authorities, as well as relatives of the newly commissioned Professional Soldiers.
A total of 750 Professional Armed Forces Officers were sworn in, 145 of the Special Forces and 6 of the Joint Legal Corps.
