Student Flight with PA Helicopter Aircraft
As part of the Celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force (PA), on Saturday November 4, 2023, flights of 2nd High School students, year 2023-2024, will be scheduled at the Dekelia Air Base, with PA Helicopter Aircraft.
Those interested should submit an online application through the official PA website (www.haf.gr) by Sunday, October 29, 2023 (11:59 p.m.) and the selection will be made by lottery, which will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 .
For the students who will be selected to participate in the event in question, according to the applicable statutory texts:
- The presentation of a Responsible Declaration – Parental Consent (for minors)
- Successful completion of flight medical examinations at the Aviation Medical Center
- Successful completion of training in safety measures and emergency procedures.
Indicative Event Program
- Friday, November 3, 2023, medical examinations at the Aviation Medical Center
- Saturday, November 4, 2023, training and making flights at the Icaron School.
* The individual details of the event, as well as its exact program, will be announced with a later announcement.
* Scheduled flights may change due to adverse weather conditions and/or flight availability.
* For the students and their families, who will choose and live outside the Prefecture of Attica, they can be provided, if they wish, with free accommodation and meals in PA facilities. In addition, it is possible to cover their movements, within the Prefecture of Attica, for the needs of the event.
* The event may be modified or postponed depending on service needs
