“73 years ago, our country, responding to the call of the United Nations, raised its flag among the 22 allies who sent military personnel, air and ground forces to Korea.

Cooperation between the two countries that have the same concerns and sensitivities on a wide range of political issues is of utmost importance and can serve as a force multiplier to promote peace, security and economic development.

There are significant prospects for cooperation in the fields of innovation, high technology and green development, notably renewable energy and waste management.

Both countries respect International Law, national sovereignty, sovereign rights and territorial integrity of all states while condemning all forms of revisionism.

The potential for upgrading bilateral cooperation at a strategic level is great. It is equally important to enhance dialogue on regional and international issues of common interest in relation to the UN Charter and International Law.

We support Korean War veterans and their families. We will preserve their historical legacy, recognizing their contribution to the defense of the values of freedom and democracy with a spirit of sacrifice and heroism.”

Finally, he expressed his condolences to the family of Akrivos Tsolakis, who recently passed away, stating that “We honor his heroism, bravery and memory».
