Participation of the GEETHA Special Warfare Command in the Multinational Exercise “TROJAN FOOTPRINT (TFP) – 24”

On Friday 15 March 24, the multinational exercise of Special Forces – Special Operations Forces (ED – DEE) TROJAN FOOTPRINT (TFP) – 24, which was conducted from Wednesday 28 February 24 in Greek territory, was completed.

TFP – 24 took place within the framework of the NATO Exercise STEADFAST DEFENDER – 24, with the participation of personnel and means of the Special Warfare Command (DEP) of the GRETHA, and under the Command of the US Special Operations Command Europe (US SOCEUR) with the installation Special Operations Coordination Center (SOCC) in Stuttgart, Germany.

Staff from Albania, Bulgaria, France, Republic of North Macedonia, United Kingdom, USA, Italy and Montenegro also participated in the activity. At the same time, staff and means of the Faculty of GRETHA as part of participation in TFP – 24, exercised in the Krivolak region of the Republic of North Macedonia.

During it, the participants had the opportunity to practice the design and conduct of complex operational scenarios, which contributed to the increase of combat capability, as well as to the improvement of interoperability at the level of conducting ED – ED objects.
