Military expert: This is the surprise that Russia has prepared for NATO

“The Pentagon’s dream has always been to place missiles as close to the Russian border as possible, so that the missiles can reach Moscow in a matter of minutes.”

Russia has repeatedly warned the West not to test the Kremlin’s patience with NATO’s efforts to expand eastward, but calls have not been heeded. If Washington does not stop, Moscow will present a “special surprise” in the form of advanced weapons, says military expert Sergei Hatilev.

The United States and NATO continue to pursue an aggressive policy toward the Russian Federation. At first they wanted to unite Ukraine in the military bloc, after Finland and Sweden. The Pentagon has always dreamed of deploying missiles as close to the Russian border as possible, so that the missiles could reach Moscow in a matter of minutes.

But the Kremlin opposes US aggression and does not allow them to approach, keeping them at a safe distance from the border to ensure their own security. Russia has suggested that NATO countries sign reciprocal guarantees, abandon non-aligned nations since 1997, and discuss non-proliferation. NATO rejected Moscow’s proposal.

The special operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched in Ukraine for the protection of the civilian population also seeks the demilitarization and denationalization of the country as its goal. NATO member states are prolonging the Ukrainian crisis by constantly sending weapons to Kyiv, thus depriving it of military, indirectly economic, power.

Russia will resolve issues of peace, security and coexistence with Alliance countries using traditional methods, Sergei Hatilev, former head of the Russian Air Force Special Forces anti-aircraft missile force, told PolitExpert. However, if the West does not stop and continues to show aggression towards the Russian Federation, Moscow will have no choice – it will have to use “special types of weapons”.

“These are not even natural, electromagnetic weapons, but those promising technologies that we are developing, but we do not have the right to talk about them out loud right now. “But Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that we have such weapons that no one has even heard of.”

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. The main task is to protect the residents of Donbass, who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.

Active fighting is taking place northwest and southwest of Popasnaya and heavy artillery bombardment is observed. On the night of May 22, the Russian Federation Air Force destroyed four ammunition depots, 13 Ukrainian Armed Forces accumulation areas and 3 command posts. Twenty-six enemy bases and an ammunition depot were also hit by the air force. At the same time, 38 pieces of equipment and more than 210 nationalists were cleared.

During the day, increased Russian artillery activity was observed throughout the line of contact with the enemy. There were many clashes in the direction of Lisichansko-Severodonetsk.
