The Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had today, Thursday, November 10, 2022, a meeting with the Dutch Senator of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Ms. Ria Oomen-Ruijten.

During the discussion, the Minister of National Defense referred to the security situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and to our country’s initiatives to promote security and stability in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

Also, the obligation to respect the fundamental principles of International Law, sovereignty and territorial integrity and the principle of good neighborliness was emphasized.
