Elbit Systems will deliver the PULS missile artillery systems to the defense partner

Elbit Systems Ltd has secured a $150 million (NIS 546 million) contract to supply PULS (Precise and Universal Launching Systems) missile launchers and a range of long-range precision-guided missiles to an international defense customer.

Over three years, Elbit Systems will deliver on this contract, cementing its position as a provider of advanced artillery solutions.

PULS, designed by Elbit Systems, offers a cost-effective solution for armed forces seeking to enhance their operational effectiveness. This system allows the launch of unguided rockets, precision munitions and missiles with a range of up to 300 km.

In addition, its design supports future development capabilities, including the launch of roving munitions, such as Elbit Systems’ SkyStriker canister-launched munitions configuration.

One of the key advantages of the PULS launcher is its full adaptability to existing wheeled and tracked platforms, resulting in reduced maintenance and training costs. This flexibility ensures seamless integration with the customer’s current military infrastructure, further enhancing operational efficiency and readiness.

Mr. Yehuda (Udi) Vered, General Manager of Elbit Systems Land Division, expressed his excitement about the increased demand for advanced artillery solutions from militaries worldwide.

“We are seeing increased demand for our advanced artillery solutions from militaries seeking to increase the effectiveness of their armed forces. This contract provides an additional vote of confidence in Elbit Systems’ PULS missile solutions.

This year, the Netherlands also replenished air defense systems by procuring PULS missile systems from Israel-based Elbit Systems in a $305 million (€271.5 million) deal, after donating various artillery systems to Ukraine.
