Crete in Ankara’s sights – The Turks were looking for the location of the S-300 – They “ate” wood from the Greek PA

According to the information, the objective of the Turkish fighters was to map the S-300 base in Crete and for this reason a pair of F-16s would attempt to come east of the Karpathos, with a final destination of Crete, to search for the missile positions.

The positions of the S-300 missiles located in Crete were searched by the Turkish fighter jets, which carried out overflights over the island on Monday.

As the diplomatic editor of MEGA, Marinos Gasiamis, revealed, the overflights over Divounia and Kamilonisi, as well as the air battles that took place at that point, were a distraction for the basic plan of the Turkish armed forces.

However, the pair of Turkish jets were intercepted by Greek fighter jets shortly after 11:00 in the morning.
