China’s ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui has escalated China’s hostile rhetoric towards the United States since the start of the war in Ukraine.
The statement came after a series of top-level interventions, most of them from China’s foreign ministry.
Rhetoric is now used that was not used even during the Cold War.
This is very impressive because China’s rhetoric has always been careful and measured.
The statement of the Chinese ambassador:
“We must put an end once and for all to the hegemony of the United States, with its eternal desire to intervene in the affairs of sovereign states.”
