A double message of readiness of the Hellenic Armed Forces and the General Staff of the Army was sent from Kalamata, during the inauguration of the Guards Hostels, by Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis.
The event took place in the presence of three deputies of the Prefecture, the Mayor of Kalamata, the Deputy Regional Governor of Messinia, the great donor Achilleas Konstantakopoulos and representatives of the ED and the Security Forces.
Both during his speech and in his statements to the local media, the Messinian Chief of General Staff referred to the readiness of the E.D. in their strong deterrent power and sent a message of security, saying characteristically that “you must sleep peacefully, do not be afraid, we are stronger than ever”.
