Visits by Accredited Defense Attachés, Military, Naval and Air Attachés and Foreign Auxiliaries

From Monday 16 to Friday 20 October 2023, informational visits were made by the accredited Defense Attachés (AKAM), as well as the Military, Naval and Air Attachés (SNAA) and their Assistants in Greece to Services and Units of all three Branches of the Armed Forces , which was headed by the Department Head of the Department of Defense Followers of the Directorate of Political Intelligence of the GEETHA Sminarchos (I) Dimitrios Papakostas.

A total of 19 AKAM – SNAA and Assistants from 18 Countries participated in the activity (Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Switzerland, Zambia, UAE, United Kingdom, USA, Iran, Spain, Nigeria, Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey), during which they visited:

● On Monday, October 16, 2023, the Damage Control School (E/B) of the Palaska Training Center in Skaramanga.
● On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the 120 Air Training Wing (120 PEA) and the Sea Survival Training School in Kalamata.
● On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the Archaeological Site of Mycenae and the War Museum of Nafplion.
● On Thursday, October 19, 2023, the Engineering School (SMX) and the 747 Special Engineer Battalion (747 ETMX) in Loutraki.
● On Friday, October 20, 2023, the Hellenic Aviation Industry (EAB) in Tanagra.

The visits are part of the annual program of activities of the accredited AKAM – SNAA and their Assistants in Greece designed by GEETHA, and included updates on the mission, activities and training capabilities of the above Services in a national, multinational and inter-alliance context.
