Visit of GES Chief to France

On January 9, 2024, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis paid an official visit to France, at the invitation of his counterpart, General Pierre Schill.

The GES Chief had a private meeting with his French counterpart, with whom he exchanged views on matters of common interest. The meeting took place in an excellent atmosphere and the common intention was established for an even greater strengthening of the cooperation of the two sides.

In the context of the talks, the signing of a text of mutual intent for cooperation with the aim of developing and using the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) PATROLLER took place.

The two Chiefs then paid a visit to the French Army Base Factory “Section Technique de l’ Armée de Terre”, where they were briefed on the mission, activities and innovations and toured its facilities.
