It should be reminded that at the end of April, another 130 M1117 security armored vehicles had arrived in Thessaloniki, while by the end of 2022, the USA will provide a total of 1,200 ASVs in Greece, all free of charge, through the EDA program.

The youngest US Army soldiers recently completed a familiarization course in Thessaloniki with partners in the Greek Army, for the 130 M1117 ASV.

The M-1117 armored vehicles, especially on our islands, will have the ability to maneuver very quickly, to reach any coast in case of need, to repel with deadly fire any possible Turkish amphibious action, neutralizing it at its inception.
