Turks: We cut the Bayraktar ships in half

Turks: We are cutting Russian ships in two with Bayraktars, claims a major Turkish defense site.

A Russian Raptor-class patrol boat appeared to have been cut in two after being hit by a Turkish Bayraktar of the Ukrainians, writes defensesanayist.com.

The Bayraktars use Turkish Roketsan MAM-L ammunition.

The Russian ship appears to have been hit on the starboard side and cut in two.

MAM-L ammunition has a semi-active laser seeker and a maximum range of 15 km. Due to their light weight they are used by Turkish UAVs.

Earlier, Russian military officials claimed that Russia destroyed all Turkish drones in Ukraine.

“Ukraine no longer has attack drones,” the avia.pro agency reported as it claimed that, despite deliveries of Turkish attack drones to Ukraine, “all were disabled or completely destroyed.”

At the same time, the Turks claim that the Americans have copied Baryaktar.

The Turks refer to the company Edge Autonomy, which has developed the drone with Penguin.

In fact, the American company signed an agreement with the US military to supply an unknown number of Penguins.

The Penguin drones are very similar in appearance to the Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 but are smaller in size.
