Turkey: The upgrade of the F-16 made Erdogan a “Turk”!

As soon as Joe Biden “turned a blind eye” to Erdogan for upgrading the F-16s, the sultan brought out his famous evil self again.

Turkey: Erdogan may not have spoken to NATO about Greece, but he has spoken to foreign leaders about the islands and US bases. A move that showed that the far-right president of Turkey, take heart, just believed that he got the upgrade of the F-16 from the USA.

It is characteristic that Erdogan continued the narrative that Greece is the one violating Turkey’s airspace(!) and not the opposite as the whole world sees.

In fact, the improbable Erdogan did not hesitate to set his sights on Kos as well, with analysts in Turkey scrambling around the Greek island.

However, the Turkish president may be “barking” after the courage that the meeting with Biden gave him and what the American president said about the F-16s, but this is not the whole truth.

And this as the “stroking” of Biden in Turkey caused many reactions in the USA. After all, the F-16 upgrade will not happen if it does not pass Congress, no matter what Biden promises.

It is however shocking that President Biden would advocate the sale of US F16s and their modernization to Turkey after hearing directly from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis about concerns over Turkish aggression during his visit to Washington.

“Since Greece does not provoke, we do not wish for tension. Greece, which has violated our airspace 147 times, must be held accountable for this,” said the Turkish president, in a statement that can only be taken seriously inside his country.

After all, the climate in Turkey is heavy for Erdogan, who is still giving “crumbs” to the people in the form of increases. The opposition itself is pounding him and according to the polls, Erdogan is not even getting his vote!

“When 18 islands were occupied, while they were islands that were not supposed to be armed according to the Treaty of Lausanne, they ended up being militarized. In fact, no one reacted when I said in 2017: “Why don’t you say something, man?” Now “why did you arm yourself…” but where were you bro, did you just find this out? Foreign affairs are something different,” said Kemal Kilinjaroglou.
