Turkey: The hidden agenda of Erdogan and Putin and how it affects Greece

Putin and Erdogan allegedly had a hidden agenda in their meeting, which according to analysts affects Greece as well.

Turkey: According to expert analysts, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin had a hidden agenda concerning Greece!

Panagiotis Pastouseas Rear Admiral and Polykarpos Adamidis, professor of community law and international relations at Evelpidon School, talked about the Turkish challenges as the drilling rig comes out in three days, but also about how much Greece is affected by the Putin-Erdogan meeting.

While Putin is furious with Turkey about Bayraktar, as Mr. Adamidis revealed, a hidden agenda was also discussed between the Russian and Turkish leaders!

This concerns various facilities that Turkey will provide to Russia, blocked from the rest of the world due to its invasion of Ukraine. And this in order for Russia to be able to bypass the sanctions imposed by the West on Putin’s country.

These facilities have to do, among other things, with benefits from the Turkish banking system to the Russian one, with the use of Turkish refineries, but also terminals for the transport of Russian crude oil.

From there, on August 9th, the fourth Turkish drilling rig comes out, which also concerns Greece. His route, which is currently kept as a “top secret” will also show exactly where Erdogan is going.

It is a state-of-the-art drilling rig that can drill 12 kilometers below the seabed and at a water depth of 3 kilometers.

According to Vice-Admiral Pastouseas, there are three possible places where the drilling rig will move: Southwest of Cyprus in plot 6, in the Northeast of Cyprus where it will operate with permission from the pseudo-state, while there is also the route followed by the Oruc Reis in 2020, near in Kastellorizo.

However, where the tension will hit “red” and Greece will have to react strongly if it happens, it will be if the drilling rig that Turkey will take out will head towards the areas of the Turkish-Libyan memorandum!

At the same time, Greece is not worried about upgrading the Turkish Akinci, as Turkey’s economy is collapsing and Erdogan is under heavy fire.
