Turkey: The Turks say that the US is in a hurry to sell the F-35s to Greece, while characterizing the event as strange.
The Turks cannot digest the fact that Greece will not only get the American F-35s, but as they say Athens will get them “unusually faster”.
Publications in Turkey are citing an “evil alliance formed by the US and Greece against Turkey”, which they say is “becoming more evident every day”.
And according to the Turks, the report on the acceleration of the process by the Pentagon was “unusual”.
At the same time, the Turks note that while the US accelerated the sale of F-35s to Greece, “on the other hand, they made the sale of F-16s, older technology to Turkey, a condition not to violate Greek airspace.”

The publication emphasizes that the US presence in Greece “has been focused on the air base in Larissa, where drones are developed, on the air bases in Stefanovikio and the military base in Alexandroupolis, 40 km from Turkey”.
