Following the Prime Minister’s decision Kyriakou Mitsotakis and the Chancellor Olaf Scholzthe Minister of National Defense Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos and the German Minister of Defense Christine Lambrechtin order to support Ukraine’s defense against Russia’s continued aggression, agreed on the provision of 40 BMP-1 armored fighting vehicles from Greece to Ukraine, which will be replaced by 40 MARDER armored fighting vehicles, to be provided by Germany in GREECE.
