Mr. Stylianidis, accompanied by the Commander of the 3rd Regional Administration L.S. – EL.AKT. Captain L.S. Pavlos Tiftikidis and the Harbor Master of the Ithaca Port Authority L.S. Michail Andriopoulos, yesterday (28/10) was given a tour of the Stavros Ithakis desalination units (City Port) and then performed an autopsy on the existing infrastructure and facilities of the ports of Frikon and Kionio.
Today (29/10), the Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy participated in a meeting at the Ithaca Town Hall, which was attended by the Member of Parliament for ND Kefalonia Mr. Panagis Kapatos, the Deputy Governor of Kefalonia Mr. Stavros Travlos, the Mayor of Ithaca Mr. Dionysios Stanitsas, the Prefect Mrs. Smaragda Sardelis, the President of the Municipal Council Mr. Stefanos Fiambolis, the Deputy Mayors etc. Ioannis Trellis and Panagiotis Dorizas and local bodies of the island. During the meeting, important issues concerning the local community and the island’s infrastructure were discussed at length.
