The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, from Tuesday 19 until Friday, July 22, 2022, after Chania, where it was in the context of the Bilateral Cross-branch Exercise Greece-USA “POSEIDON’S RAGE 22”, it will visit Cyprus and Kastellorizo ​​in succession.

Specifically, the schedule of visits, presence and participation of the Deputy Minister of National Defense is as follows:

From today, July 19, accompanied by the Chief General of the General Staff Konstantinos Florosis in Cyprus, representing the Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos in the anniversary events of memory and honor in favor of the Fallen and Missing Officers and Soldiers during the Turkish invasion of 1974, which will take place on the two days of July 19 (afternoon) and 20 July 2022. As part of his visit, the Deputy Minister of National Defense will has meetings with the Cypriot Minister of Finance Mr. Konstantinos Petridis and the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus K. Ioannis Papamelitou.

On Thursday 21 and Friday 22 July, Mr. Hardalias will visit Kastellorizo, where he will participate as a speaker in the conference organized by the World Inter-Parliamentary Union of Hellenism (PADEE) with the theme “The Law of the Sea” (July 21) and will visit Army and Navy Units (July 21 & 22) on the island.
