Russia has announced that the first flight of the new Su-75 Checkmate 5th generation single-engine fighter jet will take place in 2024.

At the same time, he said that the possible start date of production is 2027.

The maximum take-off weight of the aircraft will be less than 18 tons, and it will incorporate the Izdeliye-30 engine of the Su-57.

This particular engine is designed to be 30% lighter than the AL-41F1, but 18% more efficient.

The Su-75 will have a range of 3,000 kilometers and reach a maximum speed of Mach 1.8-2.

It will be able to carry up to seven tons of war cargo, internally and externally.
