Romania: If it gets submarines, it means the end of Turkey in NATO

Romania: If it gets submarines, it means the end of Turkey in NATO since the Black Sea has been Turkish and Russian territory until today.

Romania is in talks to buy French submarines.

Bucharest will enter the process of acquiring submarines for the Black Sea, a sea easy to detect submarines, because it is obviously under pressure from the West.

The purchase of other surface ships for Romania would of course make sense, but what could the purchase of submarines mean?

A person with knowledge of the report told geostratigika.gr that Romania is being pressured by NATO to play Turkey’s role in the region.

The Americans see that Turkey is not in the mood to break with Russia, so they plan to “replace” it in the Black Sea operations with Romania.

It is not an exaggeration to argue that if Romania finally gets the French submarines it is talking about, this will mean that Turkey will find itself with one foot outside (i.e. marginalized) the operational core of NATO.
