The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense Mr. Antonios Oikonomou attended the ceremony on Monday, July 4, 2022 presentation of swords to Army Officers of any origin except SSE-SSAS graduates in the “PEDION AREOS” camp in Thessalonikias a representative of the Ministry of the Interior.

In the above ceremony during which the Mr. Economou together with the Commander of the 3rd Army Corps/NRDC-GR Lt.-Gen Sotirio Kostakoglou presented the swords to a total of 141 Officers, attended, Ms Gerakina Bisbina as a representative of the District Governor, Mr. Petros Lekakis as a representative of the Mayor of Thessaloniki and Archimandrite Ignatios Ioannidis as a representative of the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki.

Subsequently Mr. Economou went to the Supreme Interdisciplinary School of War (ADISPO), where he announced the start of the second day’s work, with the theme “Actions to develop knowledge and skills for the Civilian Staff of the Ministry of Health».

The conference was about informing about the training program for the Ministry’s political staff, which will be financed through ESPA and was a continuation of the first workshop that took place in Athenasince the implementation of the said program will take place in five cities and more specifically in Athena, Thessaloniki, Bullet, Patras and Chania.

Present at the meeting was the Commander of ADISPO, Lieutenant General Ioannis Birbilisthe NRDC/GR Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Theodoros Athanasopoulosthe Commander of the 113 PM Squadron Spyridon Arvanitakisrepresentatives of the Directorates of the Civil Staff, representatives of the Ministry’s Employees’ Federations and civil servants of the Ministry of Health.
