The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense Mr. Antonios Oikonomou attended today, Thursday 6 October 2022, the events for the 110th anniversary of the liberation of Elassona from the Turkish yoke, as a representative of the Greek Government.

Mr. Economou attended the official Doxology held at the Metropolitan Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios, chorostatoun of Theophilestas Bishop of Roga etc. Philotheou. Afterwards, he went to the Hero of the city, where the solemn speech was delivered, attended the memorial service and laid a wreath. Then he watched the parade of political departments and number of schools of all grades.
