The Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos attended today, Monday November 21, 2022, at the Doxology held at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, in the context of the Armed Forces Day celebration, representing the Government and the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Doxology was attended by A.E. President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Katerina Sakellaropoulouwho then laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Also present were the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulasthe Minister of Immigration Policy Mr. Notis Mitarakis, the Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardaliasthe Deputy Minister of Climate Change & Civil Protection Mr. Evangelos Tournas, the Chief GEETHA General Konstantinos Florosthe Chief GES Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis, the Chief General Vice-Admiral Stylianos Petrakis PN, the Chief of General Staff (I) Themistocles Bourolias, the Official Opposition was represented by the Member of Parliament of Piraeus, Mr. Theodoros Dritsastop and senior officers of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, retired Officers of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, the Ambassador of Cyprus in Athens, Mr. Kyriakos Kenevazos, as well as Envoys of foreign Embassies.
