An off-duty police officer in Thessaloniki ended up in the hospital when he was attacked by a gang of minors in Evosmos.
The man rushed to help his son, who was the first to be attacked, after the minors noticed the cross he was wearing! The man arrived at Evosmou square and there he was attacked by the gang, who beat him severely.
Six youths, 15 and 16 years old, among them an Iraqi, were arrested for this new incident of juvenile violence. They were taken to the public prosecutor and released, while a preliminary examination was ordered to investigate the incident and forward the forensic examination.
It should be noted that the police officer went to the hospital alone and then left, while the minors arrested deny any involvement.
