The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, participated yesterday, Thursday, July 14, 2022, in the meeting organized by the Federal Ministry of Defense in Berlin, on issues of defense equipment, accompanied by the Director General of the Department of Defense Equipment and Investments of the Ministry of National Defense Vice-Admiral (M) e.a. Aristides Alexopoulos PN.

In addition to the host country, the meeting was attended by national delegations from Greece, Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Deputy Minister of National Defense held meetings with his German counterpart, Mr. Benedikt Zimmer, the General Director of Equipment of the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany Vice Admiral Carsten Stawitzki and tthe Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense of Italy Lt. Gen Luciano Portolano.

Also, Mr. Hardalias visited the Greek Embassy in Berlin, where he met with Ambassador Mrs. Mara Marinaki. During the meeting, regional and international developments since the Russian invasion of Ukraine were discussed.
