The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias will pay an official visit to the Republic of Korea (Seoul), from Sunday 4 to Wednesday 7 September 2022, accepting the invitation of the South Korean counterpart of Mr. Shin Beom Chulto participate in the International Conference of Deputy Ministers of National Defense “Seoul Defense Dialogue 2022”.

As part of his stay in Seoul, the Deputy Minister of National Defense, in addition to his participation in the work of the International Conference, will:

– He has bilateral meetings with Minister of Defense Mr. Lee Jong-suphim Minister of Patriots and Veterans K. Park Minshikthe Minister of Defense Procurement, Mr. Eom Donghwan and the Deputy Minister of Defense Mr. Shin Beom Chulof the Republic of Korea, as well as with counterparts in other states.

– Sign, with the Minister of Defense Procurement Mr. Eom DonghwanMemorandum of Understanding between the Defense Procurement Program Administration of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of National Defense, on Defense Industry and Logistics Cooperation.

– Met with His Eminence the Metropolitan of Korea, His Eminence & Exarch of Japan, Mr. Ambrose, at the seat of the Metropolis, at the Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos.

– He will visit the new Korean War Memorial, after its relocation to a new appropriate location, as well as the Korean War Museum where he will testify inwreath on the votive column dedicated to the Greek participation in the Korean War and to our 196 dead.
