The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias met today, Tuesday 01 November 2022, at the Ministry of National Defense, with the Director General of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Andrea Loukas.

During the meeting, which took place in a particularly cordial atmosphere, matters of mutual interest were discussed, such as the joint participation of Greece and Cyprus in European Programs, as well as the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of joint procurement by the European Union (Joint Task Force and European Defense Industry Reinforcement through Common Procurement Act – EDIRPA).

The General Director of Defense Equipment & Investments of the Ministry of National Defense Vice-Admiral (M) e.a. also participated in the meeting. Aristides Alexopoulos PN and Staff Officers from the Ministries of Defense of Greece and Cyprus.
