Ukrainian border guards received protective ammunition for service dogs
The four-legged defenders were given armored vests, protective glasses, headphones, shoes and medicine.
Photos of dogs in gear were released by the State Border Service.
“Ammunition sets, namely: bulletproof vests, protective glasses and shoes, headphones, medical kits with medicines were handed over to the defenders by the volunteer organization “Berezhitsia i bashte”, the border guards wrote.
“Now it will be safer for service dogs to perform combat duties, because such equipment will not interfere with movement and will protect four-legged friends from injuries,” say dog experts.
It is recalled that the four-legged defenders actively help the Ukrainians on the battlefield.
